World Dezign Interview: Saxaca

Who are you? Please tell us something about your self!
I'm a freelance web designer from Norway. I've gone by several online aliases through the years, the newest is the current, Saxaca.

How did you get interested in Web Design & why?
Oh, that's a long story!
It all started around five years ago. I was playing a game, and was looking for a forum about that game. There was no Norwegian forums, so I decided to make my own. After lots of hassle, I managed to get a decent board running up on SMF.
The board then died, and I left the game. Later, I re-started, and created a new board on Forumotion. The rest is story..

What advice would you give to people who just recently got interested in Web Design?
Don't force yourself to learn, unless this is what you want to work as. You really don't want to.. get tired of the whole lot. I learnt coding SLOWLY, and I don't think it'll be smart to rush it..

What do you think the most important part of creating a website is?
How the page manages to tell you it's intention as fast as possible.

How long have you been working with Web Design?

Around three-four years, I think.

Who is your best web designer?
I don't favour any web designer above others, but I feel the WHOLE mozilla team did a great job here: https://demos.mozilla.org/en-US/

What coding languages do you know & which ones are you learning?
I "know" HTML, CSS and Javascript. I'm currently expanding my PHP knowledge.
