I know the "buggy" way but I do not like it...

http://help.forumotion.com/t90311-how-to-add-an-icon-before-username

I know that there are different ways to do that... Could you please help me ?

Thank you Smile

With jQuery:

Code:
$(document).ready(function() {
   $("a[href=/uNUMBER_HERE]").after("<img src=IMG_URL_HERE>");
});
Replace NUMBER_HERE with the users number and IMG_URL_HERE with the image.

It's basic the same thing as the CSS way, as you surely know. Smile

It did not work for me... Sad But never mind... I used the "buggy" way...

SOLVED

No, it's not. Just go learn jQueryyyyy. Wink

I am trying to learn...But look it !!!

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">$(document).ready(function() {
  $("a[href=/u1]").after("<img src=http://www.airspace.at/sub/templates/rt_dominion_j15/images/icons/icon_admin.gif>");
});</script>

If the usernames on your forum is colorized by group, is it properbly because we've used the wrong selector Smile

How can I find the selector for a user ?? It would be nice if I could... Sad I would also liked it if I could do that and for groups too...

If you give me a link to your forum, can I try find it for you. Smile

Good Smile

I'll give it a try tomorrow, because i'm on my phone now. Smile

ok Smile again ty

If you are fastrider2006, will the selector for you be ...

Code:
a[href=/u1] span strong
So the script will look like ...
Code:
$(document).ready(function() {
  $("a[href=/u1] span strong").after("<img src=http://www.airspace.at/sub/templates/rt_dominion_j15/images/icons/icon_admin.gif>");
});
Hope that'll work Smile

UUhhm... It works but now, all the users have the icon near their username not just me.... xD

Thank you

Code:
 a[href="/uX"] strong {
    background: url("http://cdn2.iconfinder.com/data/icons/fugue/icon/crown.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
    padding-left: 16px;
X is a number Wink
