How to do this ?
Like with this one : http://www.limescape.forummotion.com/

Drag the mouse to the picture on the forums . The image is lightening . How's that works ? My Forum is PunBB Smile .

You can use jQuery or CSS for that (:
I will give you a jQuery code.
1. you need to give all the images a class or an ID (:
like:

class="fading-img" />
2. You can add this script to your overall_header above the tag:
Code:
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
jQuery(".fading-img").fadeTo("fast", 0.6);
jQuery(".fading-img").hover(function(){
jQuery(this).fadeTo("fast", 1.0); },function(){jQuery(this).fadeTo("slow", 0.5);
});});

Or you can do this

Code:
img {
  opacity: 0.5; /* Vary from 0.1 to 1.0 */
  -moz-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  -webkit-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  -o-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
}

img:hover {
  opacity: 1.0;
}

@Gangstar15:
How about for CSS ?

@Japorized:
Not working :( .

Japo gave you the CSS (:
Give me your forum link and i will give you a full CSS code (:

1. go to the multi forums table from the ACP and find this:

Code:
<table width="500" border="0">
Replace it with:
Code:
<table width="500" border="0" class="multi-forums">
2. go to the CSS and add this:
Code:
.multi-forums td img {
filter:alpha(opacity=50);
  opacity: 0.5; /* Vary from 0.1 to 1.0 */
  -moz-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  -webkit-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  -o-transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
  transition: opacity 1s ease-in-out;
}

.multi-forums td img:hover {
  opacity: 1.0;
filter:alpha(opacity=100);
}
