Can some1 explain this? I dont get it like value="" and name=""

Code:
<div id="searchwrapper"><form action="">
<input type="text" class="searchbox" name="s" value="" />
<input type="image" src="THE_BLANK_SUBMIT_BUTTON_IMAGE" class="searchbox_submit" value="" />
</form>
</div>

Name works as an anchor. This is how it works.

Code:
<a name="tips">Useful Tips Section</a>
Code:
<a href="#tips">Visit the Useful Tips Section</a>
Clicking the second link will anchor you to the first link, which must be on the same page.
You can also make it work by
Code:
<a href="http://www.whateveritis.com/#tips">Visit the Useful Tips Section</a>
And it'll link you to another page and anchor you to the Useful Tips Section (as shown in example).

As for the value attribute, the example below will be a clear explanation itself.

Code:
<input value="Value">
